Home sweet home!!

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to go home to Rhode Island to visit my family. I had such a great time with everyone!! I already miss them.. but luckily my dad is coming out here in not even two weeks and I will be meeting up with my mom in Disney World in about a month. Can't wait!

Oh food. One of the highlights of my trip. Above.. I am eating lobster bisque from Brick Alley Pub, they probably have THE best I have had. Below, I went to dinner with my dad and had the surf n turf which had a stuffed lobster tail and filet mignon. SOO awesome.

Elizabeth and I went downtown and I just had to take a picture with the wave. So very touristy, but I had to do it!
We went shopping downtown also, and as I was coming down these stairs below, I fell. Not just a trip and secure yourself, but an actual slow motion fall to the ground. I wanted Elizabeth to take a picture of me on the ground, but she would not do it for me!

We had to have breakfast all together, so of course we had to go to the Newport Creamery!! There were soo many of us. It was my mom, her boyfriend Higgins, his daughter Cara, my aunt Mickey, my cousin Elizabeth, my nana, my aunt Jolene, my aunt Dawn, my uncle Jim, my cousin Jimmy, my cousin Nolan, another cousin Steve and myself. We took up three tables, almost the entire section. We were very loud and it was a blast! This is what I miss most about home.. my wonderful, fun, loud family!
Here's Nolan and I.

My Jimmy and I.

After breakfast we all went to Dawn's house where I played Rock Band for the first time ever, and it was AMAZING! I scored 100% a couple of times! Here are some beautiful pictures of us all playing!

Did I mention we look beautiful!

Here's a video of all of the action! Enjoy!

Best house guest EVER!

Did I also mention she's the cutest house guest ever?? She kisses (not on the face, thank you.), cuddles, totally potty trained, not very loud, doesn't shed.. and she wears fashionable sweaters. Ellie, we need to keep you. You are just way too much fun. I've never had anyone be so happy when I come home from work. You re-position yourself at night when I move in bed, you make sure to sit on the floor while we eat rather than jumping on the couch and trying to take my food, and you keep me warm by sitting on my lap when we watch TV shows. You are the best Ellie, please don't ever leave us.

I think I need a puppy.

Not sure what to say about this one...

I heard about these on the radio.. I am speechless. They are called Reborn Babies. Basically, its a real looking doll that women buy (to the tune of like $300-$1400) and actually treat it like a REAL BABY. It's not. They take it to the store, put it down for naps, take it for walks.. The list goes on. I'm horrified.

Before I croak.

Okay... what I realllllly want to see sometime soon (or before I die) is this beauty. Do the northern lights really interest anyone else? A girl that I helped at work today told me that she saw them in Logan once. I'm not sure I believe her, and if she were telling the truth.. I might need to make a trek up there on a cold clear night.

Help me!!!!!

I'm not sure I mentioned this, but John and I are moving! We are wicked psyched about it because the place is wonderful. We are going to have all the things that our current place DOESN'T have. Things like a dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, laundry ROOM (I'm excited about that, not only a full size washer and dryer, but in a laundry room), nice big tub for nice long baths, linen closet, patio ANDDDDD a WALK IN CLOSET (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Here's a very very exciting thing about it all, we can paint the walls. However, you do need to paint them all back to white before you move, soooooo we're not going to go paint happy. I just cringe at the idea of trying to move and having to paint tons of walls back to white. So here's my thought.. I want to paint an accent wall in the living room, but I'm horrrrible at trying to choose a color. My couches are the only thing to consider right now since we're getting a new coffee table and entertainment center. The color of the couches are a dark red/brown, like a mahogany. So what color should I go with? I want it to be idiot proof, and if ya wanna come paint... let me know! haha.

Seriously, so so very blessed.

Today, when I arrived home from a VERY long day at work, I found this sitting on my doorstep.
Of course, I was very curious what was inside, so I opened it immediately to find this..

AND this..

And lastly, this special thing. AHHHH Thanks TAMN!

Oh yeah, and John and I found and have a new apt!!!!! We LOVE it!!
And I shall post some pictures of me wearing the shirts once I look decent enough to do so.
