Before I croak.

Okay... what I realllllly want to see sometime soon (or before I die) is this beauty. Do the northern lights really interest anyone else? A girl that I helped at work today told me that she saw them in Logan once. I'm not sure I believe her, and if she were telling the truth.. I might need to make a trek up there on a cold clear night.

Help me!!!!!

I'm not sure I mentioned this, but John and I are moving! We are wicked psyched about it because the place is wonderful. We are going to have all the things that our current place DOESN'T have. Things like a dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, laundry ROOM (I'm excited about that, not only a full size washer and dryer, but in a laundry room), nice big tub for nice long baths, linen closet, patio ANDDDDD a WALK IN CLOSET (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Here's a very very exciting thing about it all, we can paint the walls. However, you do need to paint them all back to white before you move, soooooo we're not going to go paint happy. I just cringe at the idea of trying to move and having to paint tons of walls back to white. So here's my thought.. I want to paint an accent wall in the living room, but I'm horrrrible at trying to choose a color. My couches are the only thing to consider right now since we're getting a new coffee table and entertainment center. The color of the couches are a dark red/brown, like a mahogany. So what color should I go with? I want it to be idiot proof, and if ya wanna come paint... let me know! haha.

Seriously, so so very blessed.

Today, when I arrived home from a VERY long day at work, I found this sitting on my doorstep.

I have (finally) caved

Ok.. it's been soo long since I last posted. Most of the reason was I had all these pictures and than i deleted them from my camera because I thought I already put them on the computer.. and now they are gonzo. It's been a busy last while.. got a new job, got stitches, went to florida, Heidi's wedding and the best was my momma visited. Here's a couple new pics though..

Well.. I'm not going to post pictures of the oh so secret wedding gown, but I will however post this beauty...

At first I thought it was a necklace.. but to much disappointment, it was not. It was indeed a tiara of sorts. AND it was very very very ugly.

The Police Concert

Yes... We went to The Police concert on Saturday. It was soooooooo much fun! I mean.. look at us!!!

Highlights of the concert:

-Everything!

-Sting's spandex shirt. ow ow baby.

-The drummer. That man can play!!!

-The man in front of us. See the bottom left video to know what I mean. How can I possibly concentrate on the band on the stage when this guy's got Christmas lights on his hat with the huge battery pack!

-Premium parking. It just might be $20, but I get in the lines faster and get out of the parking lot faster.

-The drummer's gloves. Loved it.

-Two.. not one, but TWO encores.

-We made a Police fan out of John.

-They sounded SOOOOOOO good. Giggle-like-a-little-school-girl-good.

Not so much of a highlight list:

-We couldn't really see the screen all too well where we were seated.

-Some of the songs were remixed, so singing along wasn't such an easy task.

-It was FREAKIN' hot (but.. the snowie sure made me feel better).

Boredom..

A few exciting things going on in our apt.. let me tell you!

The volume on the tv just stopped working. How dare that TV! I admit, I blamed it on John. He just hooked up the playstation to the tv so we could watch dvd's, since we don't have a dvd player at the moment (yes, its very sad here). So yay! It worked and we watched our wedding video (which I need to somehow put clips up here..) and movies. THAN.. our volume stopped. One would put two and two together and blame it on John, right? I mean, it stopped after the playstation thing. I called comcast, and they sent someone to come out today between 1-5. Do you know what that means?? Stay home for a few hours bored out of your freakin mind because we don't have volume. Well, he came. And he left about 10 minutes later. Could have left earlier, but I think he stuck around thinking maybe I'd invite him for dinner or something. It was awkward and weird. However, I got my photo book on shutterfly done. I submitted the order and everything. It was quite fun.

Okay.. that's it for now...

First of many...

We did it, we finally did it. We created a blog. And hopefully I'm good at this!

John and I got married on May 1st 2008. So it's been about two months now.
